At 62 that was nice to hear! The hat does a good job of keeping the sun off of your face - really important at my age. Plus it does fold up very easily to store in my beach bag. I am very happy with my choice.

This hat was recommended to me because I was looking for a big sun hat while I worked in the garden. I've been using it for the past several months and the only complaint I have is if I put my hair up in a messy bun on top of my head the hat doesn't fit comfortably. BUT it would stay on my head even with my hair up in a messy bun. But having a ponytail or a braid there are zero issues. This hat has worked fantastically at keeping the sun off the top of my head and the back of my neck. One of my favorite garden accessories.

I bought this hat to wear on my trip to Hawaii. When you first get it, make sure you iron the brim if you don't want it floppy. I like it better ironed. It packed well in my carryon, looked cute and protected my face from too much sun. The trim detail is very cute also.
