I usually wear a 18/20, but have large chest which can require a size up so I don't have pulling in the back. I ordered size 4XL & item fit perfect and had room to move freely. I'm 5'4 and the length was perfect for flat shoes without dragging the ground. I did have to tack the corner of each fold on the top to insure the style lasted while wearing and did not fold over. You will need a halter bra or 1 strap bra for sheer arm.
